hrm. both my versions of pioneer (one from artix (AUR), one from voidlinux), fail. artix version complains "pioneer: error while loading shared libraries: libassimp.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". voidlinux version launches, but hangs on high load and high cpu when clicking load game, and then crashes out. continue game pops up a dialogue about different version. ... ah, new game works. oh, but save game increasingly chews up cpu and load again though, and crashes out. :/ ... trying start a new game again, and shall do enough to get an autosave, and see if that lets me continue. may after that try move all old saves out of the way, to see if that re-avails load-game. ~ :O mv'ing all files from saved games dir, now has pioneer launch windowed, not fullscreen, and sound suddenly works again... interesting, so game options are saved in there too.. ~ oh, oops, i somehow moved everything out of the .pioneer dir, not just out of the saved_games dir. so, old config files were causing the issues maybe? :3 ... now that i've played a bit, and upgraded my ship, it says i cant save because of a system error. ??? oh, i filled my hd. cleared space, now, able to save, but it crashes out after seconds of play... fun day of troubles. XD
